Sixers vs. Snacks

We took Olivia to her 1st Sixers game today, but we're pretty sure that her main focus was what she was eating.  There was the pretzel, the fries, and the first ever cotton candy (pink, of course). I'm sure when she sees them on tv, she'll remember going to the game in person, but for right now, cotton candy is king. Oh, and the Sixers won.

Another Perfect Progress Report

For the 3rd time in a row, Olivia gets an excellent progress report from school, and we couldn't be more proud. Her teacher's comments included "is a joy to have in class" and "is doing excellent in all areas".  So, at Olivia's request, we went to Chuck E. Cheese's for dinner for pizza and games.

The Magic of Christmas

It started on Christmas Eve as she left cookies and milk for Santa and "magic" reindeer food on the sidewalk.  The next day, Santa added lots of presents under the tree and gobbled down the cookies and milk. Olivia woke up with plenty of excitement as she opened her gifts, including the microwave, cash register and Disney princess movies she asked for. It was a fun-filled day full of Christmas cheer.

Christmas Cookies

Cousin A.J. came over for a playdate this weekend and helped to decorate the Christmas cookies.  In the end, there were probably more sprinkles than cookies, but they had a lot of fun doing it together.

Happy Holidays

She did it. After being too afraid in 2010, Olivia took a new picture with Santa this year.  It's shaping up to be the best Christmas yet for Olivia, as she learns the words to other Christmas songs (besides 'Jingle Bells') and gets excited about all of our holiday festivities (baking cookies and opening presents). She even has a wish list (a microwave and cash register).  Only a few weeks to go!
